Disclaimer
I am not a company. I am just a dude with a full-time job, family and a room in the basement where I have some tools. These are not made by CNC machines, but rather by hand so there maybe some minor cosmetic blemishes in cuts or bends. However, everything is 100% functional.
Important notes, features and limitations.
I want to be upfront about any information about the slide plates so that you would be able to make your own informed decision.
- These slide plates have been designed and tested to work well on SportCourt and IceCourt. They are not intended for other surfaces, like hardwood or painted concrete.
- These slide plates will be subjected to wear and tear, just like any other piece of equipment. However, in myexperience, my own slide plates held up for over a year of playing travel and in-house roller hockey without issues.
- The slide plates are fully removable without any damage or trace to the pads. However, it takes about 20 minutes to attach them (a little longer if you are doing it the first time). Ideally, I would not recommend getting these slide plates for your pads if you are using the same pads for ice and roller at the same time. They are recommended if you going to use the pads as dedicated roller pads. However, if you are ok with spending some time to attach them before your roller hockey game(s), you are more than welcome to purchase a set.
- Getting these slides, will not, by itself, turn you into Henrik Lundqvist. You will still need to supply your own skills.
Pad Requirements
Due to discreet attachment system of the slide plates these can only be made for the pads that have the pad cord that runs through the front of the pad. So pads like Bauer S and X lines, Vaughn VE8 are not compatible with my design

Pad Compatibility
These slide plates are not one size fits all. Each set is custom made to fit specific brand and model of pads. And in many cases even specific size. There are several pads for which I already developed necessary templates which is quite labor intensive process.
- Warrior G3, 33"+1.5"
- CCM Extreme Flex II 33"+1"
- Vaughn Velocity 6 2300 34"+2"
Having these templates allows me to make slide plates for these and similar pads. For example, Warrior G3 pads have similar dimensions to G4 with small difference in the size of the knee wing. CCM EFlex 2 has same dimensions as EFlex 3 and 4 with minor difference in Velcro position on the calf wedge.
I would be willing to make slide plates for pad other what's listed above if there is enough interest (at least 2 or 3).
Demo
If you are local, it may be possible to demo one of my sets with slide plates on before buying your own, if I have any available. Just contact me and we can arrange for your to come to open hockey at one of the local rinks and try a set with slide plates already on.
How to get them for your pads?
If you read everything above and you decided that you want to get a set, contact me and we can discuss all of the details. Let me know what pads and size you have and we'll go from there. I may need you to take some pictures and maybe some measurement. In general it may take me 1-2 weeks to make a set. I do travel a bit for work which makes it hard to find time sometimes.
